The Values That Help Us Grow

I began Unlocking The Spectrum over 10 years ago because I was passionate about bringing to life the kind of ABA center that I knew was possible. A place where clients’ needs are at the heart of every decision we make, where the staff’s well-being and growth are valued, and where we know that as a team there is no need to shy away from the challenges that come our way.

We know that in order to provide the highest quality ABA services with the care and rigor that our clients deserve, our staff must make choices day in and day out about how to best serve each child who walks through our doors. And we know that these choices are not always easy.

It is with this in mind that we articulated our core values, they are here to act as a touchstone that can guide our team through the inspiring days and the challenging ones. To invigorate each of us individually and strengthen all of us as a team, so that together we can best take care of each other and do all that we can to make sure that every child who walks through our door thrives.

Ethical

We are committed to making every decision with the best interest of the child in mind. This means building personalized & culturally responsive programs that adapt to the need of each individual child.

Child-Led

We believe in a play-based approach. We know we must create individualized goals, follow a child’s interest, and find the joy in the learning process to best help a child reach their maximum potential.

Family-Focused

We know parents and caregivers are integral and knowledgeable members of our team. Every plan will consider the entire family unit and be developed in partnership with parents and caregivers.

Curious

Research and experience are constantly providing new information. To ensure the highest quality ABA is being provided to our clients, we will stay open, educated, and engaged with the ABA and Autistic communities.

Collaborative

We work together to create an innovative and supportive environment that fosters opportunities for growth for ourselves, our colleagues, our clients, and their families. This spirit of collaboration carries into our relationships with other service providers and organizations to best serve our clients and our community.
